This page outlines the rules and expectations that apply whenever you visit climateproshvac.com, request a quote, book a service call, enroll in our Comfort Club, purchase filters through our online store, or hire us for any HVAC work at your home or business. By interacting with our website or hiring Climate Pros, Inc. (referred to here as “Climate Pros,” “we,” “our,” or “the company”), you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted everything written below.
If any part of this agreement does not work for you, please refrain from using our website or booking our services. We want every relationship to start on clear terms.
Who We Are
Climate Pros HVAC has been a residential and light commercial heating, cooling, and air quality provider in Southeast Michigan since 2008. We are headquartered at 54249 Gratiot Avenue, Chesterfield, MI 48051, and we serve homeowners and small business owners across Macomb County, St. Clair County, and surrounding communities. 1. Acceptance of These Terms
Each time you place a service request, sign a job estimate, complete an online form, subscribe to our Comfort Club, order filters from our Filters Direct store, or simply browse the site, you accept the version of these Terms in effect at that moment. We may revise this page from time to time as our services evolve or as Michigan and federal regulations change. The “Effective Date” at the top will reflect the most recent revision, and continued use of our site or services after a revision means you accept the updated terms.
2. Scope of Services We Provide
Climate Pros offers a defined set of HVAC and related comfort services for residential properties and light commercial spaces, including:
We do not perform structural construction, electrical rewiring beyond what is required for HVAC connections, gas main extensions, plumbing work outside of water heater connections, mold remediation, asbestos abatement, or refrigerant work on units we did not install where the system lacks proper documentation. If your project requires services outside our scope, we will let you know and, when possible, refer you to a licensed specialist.
3. Service Calls, Estimates, and Project Approval
When you contact Climate Pros for service, we will schedule a visit at a mutually convenient time. For diagnostic visits, a flat-rate trip and diagnostic fee may apply. This fee is communicated before we dispatch a technician. For installations, replacements, and larger repairs, we provide free in-home estimates and second-opinion consultations.
Every estimate we issue is valid for thirty (30) days from the date of preparation. After that window, material costs, equipment availability, and labor rates may shift, and we may need to re-quote the job. Work begins only after you sign the estimate or otherwise give written or recorded verbal approval. If conditions revealed during the job differ from what was visible at the estimate stage (for example, hidden duct damage, a corroded gas line, an undersized electrical disconnect, or a venting issue), we will stop, explain the situation, and provide a revised scope and price before continuing.
4. Payment, Deposits, and Financing
For repair calls, payment is due upon completion of the service unless other arrangements have been made in writing. For installations and large replacement projects, a deposit may be required to secure equipment and scheduling, with the balance due on the day installation is completed and the system has been tested in your presence.
We accept major credit cards, debit cards, checks, and approved consumer financing. Financing options through Carrier® credit (issued by Wells Fargo Bank, N.A.) and through Hearth are available for qualified customers, including promotional twelve-month no-interest plans and monthly payment programs as low as $99/month on approved credit. These financing options are administered by the lender, not by Climate Pros. Approval, interest rates, payment schedules, and any penalties for late or missed payments are governed by your agreement with the lender. We are not responsible for credit decisions, denial of financing, or disputes between you and the lender.
Returned checks, chargebacks, or unpaid balances may incur additional fees and, after reasonable notice, may be referred to a collection agency. We retain a security interest in any equipment installed until full payment is received.
5. Climate Pros Comfort Club Membership
Our Comfort Club is a paid annual maintenance program that includes scheduled tune-ups, priority 24/7 service, member-only discounts, and other benefits described on the Comfort Club page. Membership benefits apply only while your account is in good standing and your annual fee is current. Membership is non-transferable to a different property unless approved by us in writing. Specific benefits, pricing, and inclusions may be updated, and the version published on our website at the time of your renewal applies. Cancellation policies for Comfort Club enrollment are explained at sign-up.
6. Filters Direct Store
Our online Filters Direct store allows you to order replacement filters delivered to your door. Orders are subject to product availability, accurate shipping information, and successful payment processing. Filter sizes and specifications are your responsibility to verify before ordering; we recommend confirming the dimensions printed on your current filter or contacting our office for guidance. Unopened filters in original packaging may be returned within fourteen (14) days of delivery for a refund of the product cost, minus return shipping. Used or opened filters cannot be returned.
7. Warranties
Two layers of warranty protection typically apply to the work we perform:
Manufacturer warranties cover the equipment itself. As an authorized Daikin and Carrier dealer (among other brands), we install systems backed by the manufacturer’s stated terms. These warranties usually require proper registration after installation, professional installation by a licensed contractor, and routine maintenance. We will register your equipment on your behalf when you provide the necessary information.
Climate Pros workmanship warranty covers the labor and installation portion of our work. The specific length and coverage of this workmanship warranty are noted on your project agreement or invoice. Workmanship warranties do not extend to damage caused by power surges, lightning strikes, flooding, rodent activity, improper operation, owner-performed modifications, work performed by a third party, lack of routine maintenance, or normal wear and aging of components.
Warranty claims should be reported to us at 810-794-2200 as soon as the issue is identified. We will inspect the system and determine whether the issue falls under warranty coverage.
8. Customer Responsibilities
To allow our technicians to do their best work safely and efficiently, you agree to:
If access to the property is denied, if a hazardous condition prevents safe work, or if recommended preliminary work has not been completed, we may need to reschedule, and additional trip charges may apply.
9. Appointment Scheduling, Cancellations, and Emergency Service
We do our best to honor scheduled appointment windows. Weather emergencies, equipment failures elsewhere, supply delays, and emergency calls from other customers can occasionally push a scheduled visit. We will communicate any adjustment as early as possible.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, we appreciate at least twenty-four (24) hours of notice. Cancellations made with less notice, or appointments where our technician arrives and is unable to gain access to the property, may result in a trip charge.
Our 24/7 emergency service line at 810-794-2200 is available for situations such as no heat in winter, no cooling during a heat advisory, refrigerant leaks, gas odors, or water damage related to HVAC equipment. After-hours, weekend, and holiday emergency rates differ from standard business-hours pricing and will be communicated before work begins.
10. Website Use and Conduct
You agree to use climateproshvac.com only for lawful, personal, or legitimate business purposes related to inquiring about or purchasing our services. You will not:

11. Intellectual Property
The Climate Pros HVAC name, our logo, slogans, technician photography, system designs, written content, blog articles, FAQ entries, service pages, and the overall look and feel of climateproshvac.com belong to Climate Pros, Inc. or are used under license. Third-party brand names referenced on our site, including Daikin, Carrier, Wells Fargo, Hearth, and HomeServe USA, belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe the products and partners we work with. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or use any of this content for your own commercial purposes without our prior written permission.
12. Third-Party Links and Partners
Our website includes links to financing partners, manufacturer pages, our Google reviews, our Facebook page, and other external resources for your convenience. We do not control the content, pricing, privacy practices, or terms of those third-party sites, and we are not responsible for what you encounter once you leave climateproshvac.com. Review their terms before transacting with them.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Michigan law, Climate Pros, our owners, employees, technicians, and subcontractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of your use of our website or services. This includes lost income, food spoilage during equipment downtime, lost data, alternative lodging costs, or damage to property unrelated to our direct workmanship.
Our total liability for any claim related to a specific service shall not exceed the amount actually paid by you for that service. We are not responsible for delays or service interruptions caused by events outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, supply chain disruptions, manufacturer backorders, utility outages, labor actions, or acts of nature.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Climate Pros and its team from any third-party claims, losses, damages, costs, or attorney’s fees that result from your violation of these Terms, your misuse of our website, your inaccurate disclosure of property conditions, or your unauthorized modifications to equipment we installed.
15. Privacy
Any personal information you share through our forms, service requests, or phone calls is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is published separately on our website. By submitting your information, you agree to be contacted by phone, text message, or email regarding your inquiry, scheduled appointment, follow-up service, maintenance reminders, or promotional offers. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time without affecting service-related messages.
16. Service Area
Climate Pros serves homeowners and small businesses across Southeast Michigan, including but not limited to Algonac, Chesterfield, Clinton Township, Harrison Township, Ira, Macomb, Marine City, Marysville, New Baltimore, Port Huron, Shelby Township, St. Clair, Utica, Washington, Fraser, Roseville, and Warren. If your address falls outside our listed areas, please call us; we extend service on a case-by-case basis depending on travel distance and scheduling.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved through direct conversation will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Macomb County, Michigan, and both parties consent to that jurisdiction.
18. Good-Faith Resolution
Before pursuing any formal legal action, we ask that you first contact our office and give us a reasonable opportunity to make things right. Most concerns are resolved quickly when our service manager is aware of them. Direct, honest communication is the first step we ask both sides to take.
19. Severability and Entire Agreement
If any clause of these Terms is determined to be unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining clauses will continue to apply in full force. Together with any signed estimate, service agreement, Comfort Club enrollment, or financing document, these Terms form the complete understanding between you and Climate Pros HVAC for your use of our website and services.
